GEC Anderson was founded in England in 1962 by Gulvie Elna Charlotta Anderson (Tye) at a time when stainless steel was yet to become widely used in internal spaces. By creating a framework that enabled the design and specification of stainless steel sinktops and worktops, GEC Anderson captured the imagination of architects and designers.
From the outset, GEC Anderson has specialised in stainless steel products for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Today, the made-to-measure range of stainless steel SINKS & WORKTOPS is augmented by INDIVIDUAL SINKBOWLS, CABINETS & SHELVING, PANELS & SPLASHBACKS plus a comprehensive range of SANITARY APPLIANCES making GEC Anderson a solid leader in it's field.

The inherent versatility of GEC Anderson stainless steel products means that examples are found, not only in architecturally designed domestic kitchens and interiors but also in virtually every other sector: transport, industry, health, welfare, leisure, religion, education, culture, science as well as administration and commerce. Customers served range from enduser individuals to corporate multinationals assisted by world-renowned architects and designers.

GEC Anderson stainless steel is highly durable, resilient to heat, fire and sustained heavy use and is aseptic (totally hygienic). Minimal product maintenance requirements yield low lifetime costs. It is 100% recyclable. Heightened awareness of food contamination issues, harmful emissions and toxins reinforce the trend towards use of stainless steel. However, it is the ability to form stainless steel into attractive and desirable products with superior performance characteristics - visual and functional - that offers the key to using stainless steel successfully. In many instances, stainless steel is the only meaningful choice for serious long-term use.

GEC Anderson products are manufactured under ISO 9001 accredited procedures using materials of the highest quality.

GEC Anderson products are manufactured using 1 mm, 1.25 mm, 1.5 mm and 2 mm satin stainless steel of domestic grade or alternatively acid resisting grade.
Optional textured stainless steel is also available.
